TEAR Fund is thrilled to be bringing Grant Norsworthy to New Zealand for a concert tour this October and, if you were interested, I'd love to speak with you about Grant coming to Howick Presbyterian.
Grant is a Dove award winning and Grammy nominated musician - one third of the spectacular Paul Coleman Trio (PC3) - and, more recently, bassist for the million-selling, groundbreaking, ‘worship rockers' SONICFLOOd. Grant has had the privilege of travelling the world, seeing the ‘church' expressed in a variety of cultures and forms, and working with some of the most influential Christian artists and voices of our time. But Grant has much more important things to say than what can be simply communicated through the bass notes of somebody else's music.
"I love music but it is not the destination. Music is a wonderful vehicle I ride to get to the real destination, and that is connection - with God, and with each other."
TEAR Fund, in association with Soul Survivorwww.soulsurvivor.co.nz, is organising a series of concerts and meetings with Grant around the North Island, and, if you were willing, we would love to come and have an evening with you. Grant will be accompanied by a great band of kiwi musicians who will support him as he ministers in music and word; an occasion of worship in song and advocacy for the poor.
