"When I grow up I want to be..." - FUNDRAISING EVENT

A fun night for a great cause...
Can you remember the dreams you had when you were young? Small seeds that were placed in your heart? Can you remember those key people who mentored you through those early years? Without those people where would you be now?
As many of you will know my time as a PhD student has been one of challenge and massive personal growth. During this time I discovered my true passion: to see youth discover who they are and what they are designed for.
I have been given the exciting opportunity refine my mentoring skills at Beyond Malibu, a Young Life adventure camp in Canada. For the last forty years, Beyond Malibu has challenged youth spiritually, physically, mentally and emotionally through outdoor adventures. In the process youth have discovered that they can reach “beyond” their normal capabilities.
Not only is it my hope to sharpen my passion, but also to infuse my knowledge back into my home community. Ultimately, more passionate, convicted, skilled leaders equates to greater numbers of youth being reached and impacted.
